Kornelijus Pukinskis was born in Šilalė, Lithuania in 1997. He started playing saxophone aged 9. Everything began from the time Kornelijus entered The School of Arts, where he discovered classical music. Following that, at age 15 Kornelijus started studying jazz music in Vilnius Juozo-Tallat Kelpšos Conservatoire. In 2020, he graduated with a First Class Bachelor of Music (Honours) degree from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Kornelijus is one of the main creators of trio 'Quark Effect', 'SIN', and leader of a 10-piece band 'Saunter With Pyromans'. Since he came to Scotland to study Jazz music at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, he has already played with one of the best musicians of this country, such as guitarist Graeme Stephen and bassist Mario Caribe. In 2019 he did a collaborative performance with Karen Strang, who is one of the most influential visual artists in Scotland.
Kornelijus is passionate about undiscovered shapes, sounds, and other art forms. While studying Jazz music he deepens his knowledge in the electronic and avant-garde music, composition, theoretical physics, and philosophy.
